Description:
This kit contains all parts* necessary to convert your 4.2 Series 2 E-Type** to a more modern style metal spin-on oil filter offering superior filtration qualities to the original set-up and also making oil changes quicker and less messy.
The kit is supplied with a new high quality oil filter and replacements are available under part number EBC9658.
*Needs threadlock (not supplied) applying to some of the threads during initial installation.
**This fits Series 2 E-Type from Engine Number:
- 7R2298 - DHC/FHC
- 7R35583 - 2+2
On some rare occasions when the old canister is removed there will be a metal oil filter retaining plate fitted inside the oil filter head. This must be removed before fitting the new kit.
